No band makes me move my feet like Yonder. This was my first Yonder show, and I have danced my way through several since. Blistering fast and beautifully

wild, this is a great show for newcomers to the band and long-time fans alike. Check out KY Mandolin, Jeff rips it. The sound quality is great. Will Team Pittsburgh be at moe.down? I hope so

This show was the best way AllGood couldve been kicked off. Rain? i barely even remembered the rain until i saw some of you guys mention it i was DANCING

TOO F'ing HARD! Yonder are by far one of the tightest live bands around really sparked a new love for bluegrass for me a few years back. I have to agree though i have seen them kick way more ass and the fact that this show only gets a 4 is a testament to how sick YMSB really are!

I have been enjoying this show all weekend and it gets better each time I hear it. The sound qualitly is top notch, and sounds better here than it did

live. Maybe it sounds better because I am dry this time around. Anyone find the Keller and the Keels show from All Good? It was awesome and I need to hear Country Roads at warp speed at least one more time before I die.

i made a real effort this year to pay attention to the yonder set. i knew in two weeks i was going to be catching up with umphreys and wanted to see what
...
i was in store for. saw them in 05 for a lil bit but bailed to get shit ready for keller, this year they were one of my favorite sets. there energy and passion during the rain is what really got me....i dont think yonder was pissed people were leaving i think they just wanted everyone to stay and say fuck the rain and give in to what all good is all about ....listening to live music in a fun atmosphere depsite the weather...ex. the blizzard and other downpours that occur almost every year on marvin mountaintop....wouldnt have it any other way...Thanks yonder for opening my eyes up to the goodness that is slam grass
oo bean u are a god among men....well maybe not but thanks for the recordings means a lot to us who want to enjoy the whole weekend all over
who's got my heady heady keller and keels set???

near the end. This was a great show and if it wasnt YMSB playing I would have left due to the rain. Glad I was prepared as always with my poncho.

There were only two Team Pittsburgher's there this year. Steve Toney and myself(Bean). He ran his Neumann KM-184's and his AKG 481's. and I ran my AKG
...
483's and my MBHO hypers. Everyones recordings from the festival sound great for the most part. Mine just happen to be up first ;) But seriously, thanks for the love on the quality. I pride myself in getting the best recording possible each and every night and deciding what mic config to run that given night, and how hot im running my levels, and everything in between. I really love taping, what can I say? Its my biggest passion on this planet :) I thought the SQ on this one came out exceptionally well too, but I like to try and be modest. It's not like Im running the SBD or anything, but Ive gained some taping knowledge in the 10 years Ive been doing it. Finally, I am getting very consistent results for the most part. And when I got the 722 the summer of 2006, recordings went from good consistently, to great consistently :) You also have to spend a good bit of money to get there :) And no matter how much money you have invested in taping gear, if the mix isn't good, your tapes are going to suffer obviously. The mix at All Good was top-notch this year. It sounded amazing even up on the hill :) So the Soundguys should get the credit. They did a wonderful job IMO this year. For EVERY band too!

many. I give this show 5 stars because i would never expect a band with no drummer to blow me away like that. And for people bitching about rain, it's not the band's fault the rain came, even tho they did play that song about rain. Be prepared and bring a rain coat or an umbrella to a show, especialy at a 4 day music festival. I was surprised that I was one of the few who had an umbrella!

i dont know what Runaway Jimmy is talking about, the show was at 5:50 on friday. it was a great time to see a great band, though the rain did lower the numbers in the crowd. they really got me going early for the rest of the night.

Yonder mountain played a great set during all good, expecially due to the time slot and rain. They keeped that show up beat and rockin'. Jeff was laying
...
it down on the mandolin and on the lyrics, he was getting people excited. I didn't see to many people leave, and if you are someone who left, you dont desreve to be at all good. THey stuck through think and thin to keep the crowd going. It also was the first real good set people wanted to see which made the energy that much more potent. I have seen yonder many of many times and they also rock and know how to get your feet moving and they did just that. I will see yonder rain or shine, any time, anyplace and it will always be an amazing show!

Great recording (as always) from the Team Pittsburg crew... Thanks for the great job...
Yonder played a decent set at the festival, but had a crummy ... time slot. 2pm on Saturday didn't seem to help out, and when the rain started, most people bailed back to the campsites... It was obvious that YMSB was grumpy that people weren't sticking around...
I sat in the rain for the show, but the setlist didn't even TOUCH what they were capable of, and with the 'competition' for crowds at Allgood (w/ moe, Franti, Keller, Salmon, etc) really demanded that they make a solid effort.
I think the boy's used up all the magic at Telluride, and didn't bring their "A Game" to the heart of Appalachia like they should have....
Great recording though, so it gets a three... Not to be tough, but I have attended PLENTY of FIVE star YMSB shows- but this wasn't one of them...
You want some smoking evidence of how kick-ass ALLGOOD was this year- download the MOE set, or Franti, or the latenight All-Star Jam that rocked until 4am...
Great venue, great scene, great weekend of fun and live music... You can't ask for more than that!
